Showing Off Old Projects

Since I'm currently in the middle of a bunch of unfinished projects, I'm going to show off an old one.

In June of 2009 I made a set for a friend who had just had a baby boy.

I made a Blanket.

A Matching Hat.

And Two Washcloths.

All were made from Bernat's Cotton Tots yarn which is 100% Cotton, and super super soft.

  1. That's a reeeeally sweet little baby blanket set. People need to do things like that for friends, it's such a nice gesture. :)

  2. I've actually switched to making kicking bags for my expecting friends as opposed to making blankets. The bags are supposed to keep the baby warm while allowing it to still kick it's feet and wiggle around but unlike with a baby blanket, the baby can't kick it off in the middle of the night. I have one on the needles right now, when I finish it, I'll post it up.

  3. I've never heard of those! So it's sort of like a baby-size sleeping bag?

  4. I am very amused by the noodley texture of the yarn xD
